
Free one-to-one advice to help your business recover

The Government has announced a new service which matches small businesses with experts happy to help.
You can now sign up to Recovery Advice for Business, Enterprise Nation’s service for free one-to-one advice from experts.
Recovery Advice for Business
The service, from Enterprise Nation and supported by the Government, is designed to help small businesses get through the coronavirus crisis and prepare for long-term recovery.
Thousands of professional and business services experts have signed up to offer free advice to small businesses. The advice offered includes specialist help in:
- accounting
- law
- marketing
- social media
- recruitment
- adapting to digital technology
For the experts taking part, this is their way of helping out during the pandemic.
How it works – for small businesses
To sign up (it’s free), go to the portal on the Enterprise Nation website and enter your details.
You’ll get an email with a link and from there, you’ll need to answers some questions to help Enterprise Nation assess what type of support you need.
Next you’ll go to a personalised dashboard where you’ll see an action plan with links to tailored advice and details of how to contact relevant professional advisers who have signed up to help.
Enterprise Nation says the service will be available until 31 December 2020.
How it works – for advisers
Over 12,000 advisers who are already members of Enterprise Nation are available to give advice.
To join the scheme, advisers must belong to a professional or trade body and hold valid Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII).
Enterprise Nation hasn’t yet published instructions for how advisers can join. When we have more information, we’ll update this page.
