Meet David, from our Member Support team

We’re proud to offer our members support seven days a week and there are some incredible people, both in London and Sofia, on hand to help. We’d love for you to get to know them, so we’re putting them in the spotlight. This time, we’d like to introduce you to David!

👋 Hey David! Introduce yourself in a sentence

Hey! 🌞 I was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. Many of my relatives live in England, so it’s the country I’ve visited most. I’m 18 which makes me one of the youngest prodigies within the Tide team!

What’s your background?

I graduated high school in June. I’ve just completed the most important 5 years in my entire life, which have shaped my character into what it is today. Now more than ever, I am ready and excited for the next chapter in my life! 🌟

What made you want to join Tide?

I’ve always thought about running a small business and during my time in London was involved in a few. As we all know, Tide is a great asset to all small businesses, which are in turn a vital part of the UK economy.

Tide’s utility belt of tools helps members nurture their business and manage their finances easily. Now, almost 6 months later, I can still say that I am extremely happy with my current position.

What’s your typical working day?

I mostly work night shifts (we offer 24/7 support!). Each evening the challenges we face are always different, all the queries, ideas and feedback keep on coming even in the late hours. We’re always here to assist our members who have put their trust in us!

What’s your favourite Tide feature?

There isn’t a particular feature I favour more than others but those I am most excited about are the ones that are yet to be implemented (watch this space!) – the new multi-business feature is also great!

Favourite desk snack?

I don’t have many snacks at my desk but I do love a frappuccino! ☕

What’s your top tips for tourists visiting Sofia?

Find a local like me to get the most out of the experience! A great place to start is a restaurant called “The View”, where my photo on this blog was taken. You really get to see the capital of Bulgaria from an eagle’s eye 🦅

When you’re not at Tide, what’s your favourite thing to do?

I always try to keep myself busy but when I do have the opportunity, I love going out with my family, friends and even on my own. There are many things to do, various courses to attend and I always try to do something different – have a mix of fun festivities and cultural experiences, as well as soaking up all the inspiration and knowledge from every moment I get 🥂

Baby David
