Information Security Auditor

About You

You’re an information security auditor, with an ownership mentality and the ability to identify security control improvement opportunities across people, process and technology. If fast-paced environments, cross-team exposure, inquisitive freedom and the ability to have a real impact on a rapidly growing scale-up appeal to you, then you already have the mind of a Tidean.

You’ll be entrepreneurial and knowledgable about information security, someone who is very familiar with the dynamics of audit in a modern organisation. A unique role, where you’ll be providing third-line oversight visiblity to Tide’s leadership, investors and members, whilst also playing a leading role within Tide’s security team. Working alongside experienced security professionals and hand-in-hand with senior developers, data scientists, designers, and marketers to research, build and improve the security posture at Tide. 

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

  • Owning and independently defining the strategy and management of Tide’s internal audit program in line with ISO27001 certification

  • Working with first and second-line owners across Tide to identify and action audit remediation findings

  • Owning and operationalising the internal audit metrics program

  • Reporting audit findings, remediation progress and metrics to a wide and disparate audience of internal stakeholders across the business

  • Engaging & collaborating with external auditors as part of a robust three lines of defence model

  • Assessing opportunities, understanding behaviour, testing hypotheses with data analysis

  • Managing the end-to-end execution of the audit lifecycle

You’ll be a great fit if:

  • You’ve spent at least three years at a business with a focus on internal information security audit or assurance

  • You’re organised, pragmatic and capable of creating change; we’re after someone who’s not afraid to get their hands dirty and remove any blockers that might be on the critical path to improvement

  • You’re comfortable working in a fast-moving company where priorities can change and processes may need to be created from scratch

  • You can collaborate in a cross-functional manner

  • You have some technical knowledge and experience in the world of Information Security

  • Have a passion for Information Security and driving a security culture

  • You’re not afraid of techies
