Financial Services Merchant Acquiring team is a fast growing product area within Tide which is on a mission to provide the simplest and easiest ways to get paid. It is of prime importance for our merchants as payments acceptance is critical to enabling commerce for any business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an exceptional Product Led Growth Marketing Manager to build out our Merchant Payments Acceptance Product propositions and marketing suite. As our Product Led Growth Marketing Manager, you will focus on product growth engineering execution, leverage analytics and insights to propel our product to new heights. You will be instrumental in driving our product-led growth initiatives, working in product and engineering.
In this role, you will support and drive the building of the products through the lens of a member first approach.
Some of the things you will be doing:
- Growth Engineering Execution: Lead initiatives that enhance our product's performance, optimising every aspect with focus on activation, usage, retention, and monetization. Your work will directly influence the growth trajectory of our Merchant Payments Acceptance product, allowing us to reach even more small businesses.
- Analytics-Driven Decision Making: Utilise tools like Heap and Looker to analyse user behaviour, and product performance metrics. You'll extract insights that inform our product growth marketing, ensuring we make data-driven decisions that resonate with our target audience.
- Product-Led Growth: Develop and implement engagement units that put the product at the centre of our growth efforts. By understanding customer needs and leveraging product features, you will help drive adoption and engagement, maximising our product's business and commercial impact.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with product management, engineering and marketing channel teams to ensure alignment on product messaging and positioning. Your leadership will help bridge gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
- Continuous Refinement: Collaborating closely with other Product Managers at Tide to help inform and guide product roadmaps utilising feedback loops from members, external research and data driven insight. Working with the product, business, and finance teams to set pricing that aligns with the product value proposition.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You have 7+ years of relevant experience in growth marketing, with a focus on product-led strategies to drive activation, usage, retention, and monetization.
- You bring expertise in the small business banking space, SaaS platforms, and fintech and experience with physical point-of-sale (POS) systems and eCommerce payment solutions mobile Apps.
- You deliver measurable business outcomes by building engagement units and improving connectivity .
- You leverage data and analytics to inform decisions, optimize marketing campaigns, and enhance product adoption and engagement. You’re skilled at analyzing user behavior and translating insights into actions that drive measurable growth.
- Your background in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or hands-on data analysis using tools like Looker, Heap, SQL, or similar platforms equips you with the technical acumen to dive into the numbers.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities shift, and you are adept at building processes from the ground up when needed. You excel at removing roadblocks and maintaining momentum.
- Your project management skills are exceptional, enabling you to align and collaborate effectively with teams outside your immediate scope of control through strong relationship-building.
- You have experience managing global marketing efforts across multiple markets, navigating the complexities of localization and scaling with minimal resources.
- As a self-starter, you take ownership and work backwards from ambitious goals, driving targeted and effective execution.
