About Tide

At Tide, we are building a finance platform designed to save small businesses time and money. We provide our members with business accounts and related banking services, but also a comprehensive set of connected administrative solutions from invoicing to accounting.

Launched in 2017, Tide is now used by over 1 million small businesses across the world and is available to UK, Indian and German SMEs. Headquartered in central London, with offices in Sofia, Hyderabad, Delhi, Berlin and Belgrade, Tide employs over 1,800 employees.

Tide is rapidly growing, expanding into new markets and always looking for passionate and driven people. Join us in our mission to empower small businesses and help them save time and money.

What we’re looking for:

  • You’re an experienced Product Manager with a broad skill set – driven, analytical, and strategic – with a customer focus and strong problem solving skills.
  • You’ll be responsible for our Billing platform globally. This is a very exciting time to lead our efforts and shape the vision for our business, as we complete our migration to our new tech stack and continue to scale in multiple markets. You’ll be in charge of working across the business with multiple stakeholders for a critical part of our infrastructure.
  • You’ll be joining a group of Product Managers that work within our Member Engagement Marketing (MEM) team, which is responsible for the successful engagement and retention of Tide members. Our Billing platform is at the core of ensuring members get the most value out of their Tide subscription, and you’ll collaborate closely with our Payments, Marketing, Data and Finance teams to make sure we’re billing correctly, transparently and compliantly. More than this, you’ll be thinking about how we bill members in different markets, and how you can make this a smooth and simple end user experience – one that goes above and beyond your typical SaaS experience.

As a Senior Product Manager you’ll be:

  • Defining the vision and the strategy for the future of Tide’s Billing Platform alongside our Business teams and collaborating with all product areas to successfully bill and charge our users. Continuously prioritising the product backlog and working closely with the Engineering team on delivery
  • Helping improve ways of working and day-to-day processes so that multiple stakeholders are aligned with complex billing issues.
  • Monitoring, own and understand KPIs for billing and charges, making data driven decisions and recommendations for the improvement of the processes
  • Lead creative solutions as to how we make our billing and charging processes a USP for Tide, collaborating with UX and design to consider potential enhancements.

What makes you a great fit:

  • You have several years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally focusing on billing platforms and payment rails.
  • You are a confident problem solver, with great logic and reasoning skills.
  • You’re comfortable working with legal and finance stakeholders to ensure our regulatory requirements are complied with.
  • You have a strong understanding of the business market and its unique billing requirements.
  • You think with a customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • You can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, being able to work closely with technical product requirements.
  • You have practical agile product development experience
  • You have experience working across multiple engineering teams, managing and understanding technical requirements.
  • You have some experience working in a start-up, scale-up or a fast-paced, dynamic environment

What you’ll get in return:

Make work, work for you! We are embracing new ways of working and support flexible working arrangements. With our Working Out of Office (WOO) policy our colleagues can work remotely from home or anywhere in their assigned Indian state. Additionally, you can work from a different country or Indian state for 90 days of the year.

Plus, you’ll get:

  • Competitive salary
  • Self & Family Health Insurance
  • Term & Life Insurance
  • OPD Benefits
  • Mental wellbeing through Plumm
  • Learning & Development Budget
  • WFH Setup allowance
  • 15 days of Privilege leaves
  • 12 days of Casual leaves

  • 3 paid days off for volunteering or L&D activities
  • Stock Options
