Senior Product Manager – Multi User

Location: London
Department: Product

About You

As a Senior Product Manager in our IAM (Identity and Access Management) team, you will develop the strategy, set the roadmap, and determine the requirements — in collaboration with design, engineering, and analytics — to create a shared platform for multi user roles, access management, and policy enforcement. Our IAM team serves all Tide products and services. You'll work with engineering to build best in class Identity and Access Management tools, solve new challenges as our platform grows, and ensure all of our services are scalable and available.

You will engage with the broader product and engineering community, establishing a collaborative way of working to fully understand the actual and desired outcomes for each product area, to gather requirements and to determine current and future use cases for Identity and Access Management.

You will then identify, evaluate and select appropriate Identity and Access Management solutions that best meet the needs of our members and lead the planning, development and delivery of these capabilities across Tide.

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

  • Defining the vision and roadmap for multi user roles, access and permission management for different users across the Tide platform in a flexible and scalable way
  • Leading full-stack development teams (iOS, Android, Web, Back-end) to deliver Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities
  • Capture the requirements and coordinate the development of all Identity and Access Management solutions across the different product and business areas.
  • Leading by example: you will be hands-on, take ownership for business metrics and product KPIs and play a pivotal role in bringing all stakeholders on board
  • Playing a meaningful role in Tide’s Product Community of Practice

What you’ll get in return:

  • Competitive salary
  • Vitality Health Insurance, with a proactive focus on mental and physical wellbeing
  • Hundreds of perks and discounts through Vitality Health Insurance (fitness watches, Waitrose cashback, gym membership etc.)
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme
  • 25 days holiday with the ability to buy extra days
  • We invest in your development with a £1,000 professional L&D budget per year and ability to access thousands of resources through the Learnerbly platform
  • Referral bonus when you bring your friends to join Tide
  • Access to ‘salary sacrifice’ benefits such as Cycle to Work scheme and pension contribution
  • Spacious brand new office in Liverpool street with an all-day snacks bar
  • Enhanced family-friendly leave
  • 24 hours paid volunteering or L&D time off per year
  • Flexible work from home or at the office arrangements
  • Monthly team socials (we’ve had themed bingo, online cocktail making sessions, wellbeing challenges and themed virtual pub quizzes)
  • Stock Options

You’ll be a great fit if:

  • You’ve shipped market-leading products and/or built platform capabilities in a fast-growing product-focused company
  • You’ve spent at least 5 years as a Platform Product Manager or Technical Product Manager
  • You have knowledge in data architecture and have experience in user roles, identity,  access & permission management
  • Have an understanding of Microservice architecture and how to build products on top of modern service-oriented architectures
  • Familiar with the discovery and directory technology patterns in a domain-driven design context, understanding of data models and how they apply to business outcomes
  • You have practical agile product development experience
  • Technical knowledge and experience with API-based products

We’re proud that our diversity not only reflects our multicultural society but that this breadth of experience makes us awesome at solving problems. Everyone here has a voice and you’ll be able to make a difference. If you share our values and want to help small businesses, you’ll make an amazing Tidean.

A note on the future of work at Tide:

Tide’s offices are beginning to open for Tideans to return on a voluntary basis. Timelines for reopening will be unique for each region and will be based on region-specific guidelines. The health and well-being of Tideans and candidates is our primary concern, therefore, for the foreseeable future, we have transitioned all interviews and onboarding to be conducted via Zoom.

Once offices are fully open, Tideans will be able to choose to work from the office or remotely, with the requirement that they visit the office or participate in face-to-face team activities several times per month.
