About You

This is an opportunity for a person with Cash Management (Operations) experience or existing junior Treasury person at a Fintech to step up in their career and join Tide’s fast growth.  Opportunity to learn by supporting and working closely to Tide’s Treasurer. They will be having responsibilities in BAU liquidity management, working on new products and exposure to senior management.

Some of the things you’ll be doing: 

  • Assisting the Treasurer in 1st-Line liquidity management of Tide Group and its subsidiaries, monitoring and managing cash balances across Tide entities 
  • Managing wholesale credit risk , ensuring Tide entities operate within its risk framework
  • Venturing debt and loan facility servicing, including payments and reporting requirements
  • Managing accurately and monitoring daily collateral margin and float requirements for Tide’s continually growing number of Member products
  • Managing Treasury liquidity modeling to support business scaling and internationalization
  • Designing, implementing and maintaining daily analytic reports and dashboards to provide insights and identify trends on Treasury metrics across Tide’s entities, living the Tidean core value of being ‘Data Driven’ 
  • Adopting a Fintech mindset of continuous improvement, – naturally curious to enhance processes/procedures and adopt new tools/technologies working with Tide’s in-house Data Science and Business Intelligence teams
  • Supporting stakeholders across Tide on Treasury related topics as we all seek to be ‘Member First’ – serving our SME customers with the products they need
  • Performing efficiently and professionally Treasury operations and data analysis tasks in a dynamic and rewarding environment

You’ll be a great fit if:

  • At least 3-5 years experience, ideally in Fintech or within a financial institution focused on small businesses, commercial banking risk area or retail banking sectors
  • Work experience in an Treasury operations or cash management, working with payment schemes (FPS, SWIFT, CHAPS, SEPA) and card schemes
  • Already contributed to automating processes and data-driven decisioning tools/culture
  • Proficiency with analytical tools and visualization software (e.g, Excel, Looker)
  • Attention to detail, quality in deliverables and a growth mindset
  • University degree in business, financial engineering, engineering, statistics or any other  quantitative discipline
  • Proficiency with one or more database querying tools (Python, SQL, R)
  • CertBALM or equivalent Treasury qualification

A note on the future of work at Tide:

Tide’s offices are beginning to open for Tideans to return on a voluntary basis. Timelines for reopening will be unique for each region and will be based on region-specific guidelines. The health and well-being of Tideans and candidates is our primary concern, therefore, for the foreseeable future, we have transitioned all interviews and onboarding to be conducted via Zoom.

Once offices are fully open, Tideans will be able to choose to work from the office or remotely, with the requirement that they visit the office or participate in face-to-face team activities several times per month.
