Filtering transactions

A timeline of past transactions for one of your Tide accounts can be accessed by selecting the account from the Accounts screen. Tap the name of the Tide account to continue.

Tap the Filters icon at the top of the timeline to view your filtering options.

Select From and To dates to filter for transactions made within a certain date range. Once selected, the chosen range will appear in the filter selection box at the top of the screen. If you want to remove the date range set from the filter criteria, tap clear above the date section.

To filter by category, choose the relevant category from the category menu. Once a category is selected it will appear in the box at the top of the screen and a tick will appear next to the category in the menu. Tap the category in the menu again to remove the category from the filter criteria, or tap Clear all at the top of the category section to remove all selected categories from the filter criteria.

Once you are happy with the filter criteria shown in the box at the top of the screen tap Apply in the top right hand corner. You will be directed to the past transactions timeline, where all the transactions meeting the filter criteria set will be displayed. The filter criteria will be displayed at the top of the page.

You can tap the Download icon in the top right hand corner to export a .csv file of this filtered list of transactions.

Clicking the (x) icon in the filters section will remove all transaction timeline filters.

Would it be possible to have the Download make use of the Filters? I’d like to only download transactions for a certain date range, but if I filter on this and tap Download then I still get all the transactions.

Hi @antcooper, normally the ability to download transactions for a certain date range is possible. However, following our app revamp, this feature is now only available for Android users. As a result, we’re working to correct this.

In the meantime, I recommend (providing you have access to a desktop browser) downloading certain transactions using Tide on the web. I hope this helps and do get in touch if you experience any difficulties. Thanks!
