Why was my Direct Debit declined?
Insufficient Funds: The most common reason is insufficient funds in your account. Ensure that you have enough money in the account that was used to set up the Direct Debit. Incorrect Account Details: Double-check with the merchant to ensure they have your correct local account details, as the merchant is responsible for setting up the Direct Debit. Direct Debit Scheme: Confirm that the merchant is setting up a Core Direct Debit scheme. Currently, we do not support B2B Direct Debits, though we are working towards it. Blocked Account: In case the account is blocked for security reasons, the upcoming DD OUT payments would fail.
