Yes, it is completely free to check your credit score on the Tide platform. You can check your credit score on Tide once every 90 days.

Will checking credit score on Tide affect it?

No, checking your own credit score on the Tide Platform (also known as a soft inquiry) does not impact your credit score.

What is CIBIL?

CIBIL (Credit Information Bureau India Limited) is one of the major credit bureaus in India that provides credit scores and reports based on an individual's credit history.

Is there a difference between a CIBIL score and other credit scores?

Yes, different credit bureaus (CIBIL, Experian, Equifax, CRIF Highmark) have different scoring models, but they are generally similar.

What is a credit report?

A credit report is a detailed summary of your credit history, including loans, credit cards, payment history and outstanding debts.

How do you get your full credit report?

At Tide, you are provided a basic summary with your credit score. You can request a full credit report by clicking on “Download report” once the score is generated. This shall redirect you to CIBIL for your full credit report.

What should you do if there’s an error in your credit report?

If you notice any incorrect information in your credit report, you can raise a dispute directly with TransUnion CIBIL.

How long do negative records stay on the credit report?

Most negative information, such as late payments and defaults, stay on your report for up to 7 years.
