Cancelling your Own website subscription

You can manage or cancel your Own website subscription directly through the Tide app at any time.

Before cancelling, it’s important to understand how cancellation may affect your website, domain, and business email services.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You can cancel your Own website subscription from the Tools section in the Tide app.

Once cancelled:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period

  • You can continue using Own website features during this period

  • Your subscription will not renew automatically for the next billing cycle

How to cancel your Own website subscription

In the Tide app:

  • Open the Tide app

  • Go to Profile

  • Tap Memberships

  • Select Tools → Sell & Scale Toolkit

  • Open Own website

  • Go to Subscription Settings or Manage Subscription

  • Tap Cancel Subscription

  • Confirm your cancellation

What happens after cancellation?

Once your billing period ends:

  • Your website may no longer be publicly accessible

  • Website editing access may stop

  • Hosting services may become inactive

  • Your professional business email may stop working

  • Your custom domain services may be affected

Before you cancel

We recommend that you:

  • Save important website content

  • Download or back up business images and media

  • Inform customers if your website or email will become unavailable

  • Update any links connected to your website or business email

Will my domain still remain active?

Custom domain availability and access may depend on:

  • Your subscription status

  • Domain registration timelines

  • Renewal settings

In some cases, domains may become unavailable after cancellation if not renewed separately.

Can I reactivate my subscription later?

You may be able to subscribe to Own website again through the Tide app.

However:

  • Your previous website setup may not always be retained

  • Domain availability cannot be guaranteed after cancellation

  • Certain website settings may need to be configured again

Billing and renewal information

Own website subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.

To avoid future charges:

  • Complete cancellation before your next renewal date

  • Ensure there are no pending subscription dues
