Celebrating Milestones that Move Us Forward
At Tide Business India, we believe that meaningful progress happens when vision meets action: on the ground, in the workplace, and within our communities. In our ongoing mission to empower India’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (mSMEs), we’re proud to share three major milestones that reflect our commitment to systemic impact, innovation, and inclusion: BWAI, Ekatritt, and our journey as a Great Place to Work.
Together, they represent the pillars of who we are: data-driven changemakers, passionate collaborators, and a team that leads with purpose.
1. Bharat Women Aspiration Index 2025 (BWAI)
Women entrepreneurs are shaping the future of Bharat, often against overwhelming odds. With BWAI 2025, we’ve captured the voices of over 1,300 women entrepreneurs from Tier 2–4 cities, peri-urban, and rural India to understand their dreams, challenges, and the systems that need to evolve.
Key insights:
94% of women entrepreneurs seek tailored financial products.
58% express a strong need for training in finance and marketing.
Only 14% actively network, signaling a gap in community-building opportunities.
To drive real change, we launched “The Udaan Chronicles”, a mentorship and advocacy roadshow that kicked off in Agra and Rasoolpur Sadat, taking financial literacy and digital skills directly to grassroots women entrepreneurs.
BWAI 2025 isn't just research. It's a call to action. It's a roadmap for creating a more inclusive economic future where no woman is left behind.
2. Ekatritt: Coming Together to Build the Future
Held on 29th April 2023, Ekatritt was more than just an event. It was a milestone moment for SME inclusion in India’s Northeast. We announced a Memorandum of Understanding with NEHHDC to drive digital financial inclusion for small businesses across underserved areas in the region.
Through this collaboration, we aim to:
Formalize and empower SMEs in Tier 3, 4, 5 cities and beyond.
Accelerate tech-led transformation across rural and semi-rural zones.
Ensure that innovation doesn’t just reach the metros but uplifts every corner of India.
Ekatritt stands as a powerful symbol of collaboration and regional empowerment. Because when we come together, we go further.
3. Great Place to Work: Powered by People
From 3 employees in 2021 to over 1,300 Tideans today, our journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. What makes this journey truly meaningful is the culture we've built together.
We’re proud to be Great Place to Work certified for two consecutive years. And as we look ahead, we’re gearing up for another round of the survey on June 10th, 2025.
