Your account balance limit

Your account balance limit is the maximum amount that can be held in your Tide business account at a given time.

If your balance reaches this limit, certain transactions or incoming payments may be restricted until:

  • Funds are moved out of the account, or

  • A higher limit is approved

For your security, always transfer money only to accounts you trust and control.

Your transfer and payment limits

Your transfer and payment limits

These limits determine how much money can be sent through bank transfers or other payment methods within a specific period.

If the limit is reached, additional payments may not go through until the limit resets or an increase is approved.

Your per-transaction limit

Your per-transaction limit

This is the maximum amount allowed for a single transaction.

If a payment exceeds the allowed limit, the transaction may fail and you may need to split the payment or request a higher limit.

Transfers to newly added beneficiaries

Transfers to newly added beneficiaries

For security reasons, payments to newly added beneficiaries may be temporarily restricted for a short period after they are added.

This additional protection helps reduce the risk of fraud and unauthorised transactions.

Before making a payment, always verify the beneficiary details carefully.

Your Tide Card transaction limits

Your Tide Card transaction limits

Your Tide Card may also have usage limits, including:

  • Daily card spending limits

  • Monthly card transaction limits

  • ATM withdrawal limits

These limits help keep your account and transactions secure.
