An initiative by Tide and WE Hub to enhance the ease of doing business for women entrepreneurs across India.
Sarthika is a joint initiative by Tide, the UK’s leading SME-focused business financial platform and WE Hub, Telangana’s state-led incubator for women entrepreneurs. The programme aims to bridge the last mile delivery gap between women small business owners and the state and central government schemes for women-led micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
While the center and state governments have rolled out a slew of measures to boost growth and opportunities for women in business, lack of information about eligibility and availability of schemes, poor allocation of resources, and complex processes to avail these schemes have led to a weak demand from the very people these schemes could serve best.
The Sarthika web portal will help women small business owners at the grassroots level to navigate through the application process, eligibility criteria, and other important aspects of the government schemes. Post a full KYC process, Tide India and WE Hub will work with relevant government departments for faster operationalisation of the schemes.
