When will my account actually be closed?
Your Tide Instant Saver can be closed after your monthly interest is paid (on the 1st of the following month, typically in the evening, Berlin time).
This ensures you receive all interest you’ve accrued up to the end of the month.
What do I need to do before closure?
Please move your full balance to your Tide Business Account before the last business day of the month.
Your account must be empty in order to be closed after the monthly interest is paid.
What happens to the final interest payment?
Your final interest will be paid into your Instant Saver on the 1st (evening). Please move it to your Tide Business Account; once the balance is zero, we’ll close the account.
Will I keep earning interest until closure?
Yes. You earn interest every calendar day based on your business-day end-of-day balance right up to month-end. The total is paid on the 1st (evening), and then the account can be closed
Are there any fees for closing?
No, there are no closure fees.
