In accordance with the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and the Common Reporting Standards (CRS), we are required to collect information about your tax residency.
In certain cases, for example, if you as the account holder or one of your controlling persons have a tax residence outside of Germany or are a US citizen or resident, we may be legally required to forward this information or other information relating to your financial accounts to the relevant tax authority. This could then exchange the information with tax authorities in other jurisdictions.
