I double-checked the name and IBAN. Why is it still showing 'No Match'?

A “No Match” result means the name you entered does not exactly match the name held by the recipient’s bank. Even small differences can cause this. For example:

  • Using a nickname instead of the full legal name (e.g., “Tom” instead of “Thomas”).

  • Entering the business’s trading name instead of its registered legal name.

  • Typos, extra spaces, or missing middle initials.

  • The recipient’s bank records being slightly different from what they provided to you.

If you’re sure the IBAN is correct, we recommend:

  • Checking with the payee to confirm the exact account name as it appears on their bank records.

  • Updating the details in your payment to match what they provide.

  • Only proceeding if you are confident you are paying the right person or business.
