Virtual office addresses are popular with home-based businesses, or entrepreneurs who are overseas and in need of a legal UK address.

If you’re the director of a Registered Business

You can get yours when you incorporate a new company through our company formations service

If you’re a Sole Trader

You can get yours through our partner Hoxton Mix

Companies House’s hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. If you apply during business hours, you should get your certificate of incorporation within a few hours or the next business day.

What happens if you're unable to offer me a Tide account?

If we successfully incorporate your company, but have been unable to offer you a Tide account, then your virtual office address subscription will be held directly with Hoxton Mix and not through Tide.

Hoxton Mix will contact you directly, though they may ask you to change your registered office address and not use their service.

Your registered office address is:

Our provider, Hoxton Mix, will open all mail you receive.

Official mail will be scanned and emailed to you on the same day it’s received. Unofficial mail, such as advertising, will be returned to the sender.

They won't collect or forward your mail, except cheques which will be posted to your personal address.

If you are paying monthly, we'll collect your payment on the date of the month your company was incorporated.

For example, if your company was incorporated on 12 July, your first payment will be taken on 12 August as payment in advance for 12 August to 11 September.

If you are on yearly billing, you will be billed on the anniversary date of your company's incorporation.

Cancelling your virtual office address

You can cancel at any time. From the date you cancel, all mail sent to the virtual office address will be returned to the sender.

  1. Change your address with Companies House by completing an AD01 form

  2. Tap the Support icon in your app's top left corner

  3. Tap Messages to send us your new registered office and correspondence address

  4. We’ll email you to confirm we’ve cancelled your subscription

Processing your virtual office address cancellation

If you cancel mid-month, you won’t receive a refund for the remainder of the month.

Processing your cancellation can take up to 3 days. To avoid being charged for the following month, please request your cancellation a minimum of 4 days before your payment date.

If you cancel your subscription, you can’t re-subscribe via Tide. However, you can set up another subscription by contacting our provider Hoxton Mix directly.
