Add your Tide Card to Apple Pay

No Tide Card handy? No problem.

Just set your card up with Apple Pay on your mobile device and start making quick, secure contactless payments in shops, apps, and online. It works with any merchant what accepts contactless payments – anywhere.

Stay on this page to learn:

  • How secure Apple Pay is

  • How to add and use your Tide card with it, including supported devices

  • The spending limits and applicable fees

  • What to do if your card is lost, stolen or frozen

Apple Pay is secure

Apple Pay is secure

It's safer than using cash or a debit, credit or prepaid card. This is because every time you use Apple Pay to buy something, the system uses a device-specific number and unique transaction code. Your card number is never stored on your device or Apple’s servers, and never shared with the merchant.

Apple Pay also keeps your purchases private. When you pay with your Tide card via Apple Pay, Apple doesn’t keep transaction information that can link the purchase back to you. You can see transaction information on your Apple device and in your Tide app, but Apple doesn’t store this data on their servers. –

Of course, you need to make sure you protect the security of your Apple device, just as you would with your Tide card.
