Which banks are compatible with the ‘Add Money’ feature?

Currently, you can use the following bank accounts to add cash to your Tide account:

Tap: Accounts > Send > Recurring payments > Direct Debits > select a payment > Cancel Direct Debit.

  • Bank of Scotland (Business)

  • Barclays Business

  • Cash Plus

  • Danske Bank Business UK

  • HSBC UK Business

  • Lloyds (Business)

  • Metro Bank

  • Mettle

  • Monzo

  • Natwest

  • Royal Bank of Scotland

  • Revolut

  • Santander

  • Starling Bank

  • Starling

  • TSB Bank

  • Virgin Money

  • Wise

Important: If your bank is not on this list, you should use an alternative payment method, i.e. a regular bank transfer. the 'Support' icon (in the top right) in the app, and we’ll help you. In such cases, make sure to cancel the Direct Debit Mandate through the Tide app right away.

You need to request the cancellation at least 24 hours before the payment due date, and tell the payee about the change.
