Meet Srishti, our PR Manager, India

Our PR and Communications team is at the heart of helping the Tide brand shine. This team’s goal is to get Tide and Tideans’ names into all relevant conversations. We also shine a spotlight on our small business members and help them grow their businesses with useful content. We’d love for you to meet the people behind the team – so here’s our PR Manager, India: Srishti

👋 Hey Srishti! So great to talk to you today, could you please introduce yourself?

Born and raised in Aamchi Mumbai! I was a journalist for 9 years before turning to PR. Apart from making life-altering decisions to fuel my ambitions, it is my dream to explore every place in the world with my spouse in tow. I believe in a borderless world.

Fantastic! And what you were doing before Tide?

As fate would have it, I was 2-days short of leaving India permanently to join a new role and start a new life in Dubai, when the pandemic struck and shattered my plans. I was consulting with the same UAE-based conglomerate when Tide came my way and changed it for the better.

Wow, that was a close call! What made you want to join Tide?

The very fact that Tide was just starting out in India, and that I would be part of its core team was exciting enough. Moreover, I loved how open and honest everyone was during the interview process, which spoke volumes about Tide’s positive work culture.

It’s great to have you in the team! What’s your favourite part of your role?

Firstly, I get to tell the Tide story to the world. I get to do so much more than my job description said, it’s exciting to break boundaries and explore new horizons, making me a better professional with every passing day.

As you mentioned, we’ve launched Tide in India and we already had offices in Hyderabad and also in Sofia, Bulgaria. How would you describe working in a global team, in three words?

I feel like I am part of #oneteam. Exciting, Challenging and Fulfilling  (also constantly learning).

What is your favourite member story?

Although we do not have too many members in India yet, considering India has such a vibrant ecosystem of entrepreneurs, we will have some really interesting stories to tell very soon.

When you are not at work, what is your favourite thing to do?

I love travelling, absolutely everything about it. Planning a trip, the real thing and talking about it to people, I also love to daydream about travelling to new and exciting places.

Oh that’s exciting! Which country is at the top of your list?

My next travel destination is either Spain or Japan!
