What we’re looking for:

You will be a Treasury/Finance professional, who is familiar with Indian banking operations, liquidity forecasting and risk management. You are a self-starter who enjoys the fast pace of a growing Fintech and the responsibility of being Tide’s first Treasury team member in India. You will work closely with the UK Group Treasurer and support on Group Treasury activities both from the Tide Hyderabad office and remotely.  You will be a strong candidate if you have experience in data analytics, Indian Fintechs or international banking. 

As a Treasury Analyst  you’ll be:

  • Performing Tide India Treasury operations efficiently and professionally, including 1st Line INR liquidity and INR working capital management 
  • Analysing cash & hedging needs for Tide India and Tide Group Boards 
  • Building reports and dashboards to provide insights and identify trends on Treasury metrics across Tide’s entities, living the Tidean core value of being ‘Data Driven’ 
  • Enhancing processes & procedures with Tide’s in-house Data Science and Business Intelligence teams
  • Developing Tide India Treasury’s Quality Assurance process
  • Supporting local Tide India Product Owners with Treasury expertise, from minimum viable product (MVP) to full go-to-market product launch 
  • Collaborating with Member Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance & Legal teams in both India and the UK
  • Assisting the Group Treasurer in monitoring and analysing all Tide Group entities 
  • Supporting stakeholders across Tide on Treasury related topics as we all seek to be ‘Member First’ – serving our SME customers with the products they need

What makes you a great fit: 

  • You have at least 3-5+ years years Treasury or Finance experience, ideally in a Fintech, bank/financial institution focused on small businesses, commercial banking risk area or retail banking sectors
  • You have experience in payments, cash management, digital products (e.g. prepaid cards)
  • You have contributed to automating processes and data-driven decisioning tools/culture
  • You have high attention to detail, quality in deliverables and a growth mindset
  • You have worked with international firm with headquarters in the UK
  • You are proficient with analytical tools and visualisation software (e.g, Excel)
  • You are highly organised, detail oriented, diligent and has excellent time-management skills
  • Preferable if able to work 2-3 days from Tide’s Hyderabad office and remainder optional to work remotely (hybrid working)
  • Preferable if flexible to occasionally work UK hours instead of local hours when required
  • Preferable to have University degree in business, finance, engineering, statistics or any other  quantitative discipline
  • Preferable if experienced with database querying and coding (Python, SQL, R)
  • Preferable to have Treasury or accounting qualification
