What is an eSIM?

Tide Business Phone Number provides you with a dedicated number for your business operations via eSIM. 

An eSIM is a built-in, digital SIM card that’s compatible with modern smartphones, tablets and other devices. It removes the need for a physical SIM card that you have to insert into your device, and instead provides a cleaner, simpler setup process.

How do eSIMs work?

eSIMs work exactly as a regular SIM card does, connecting you to the mobile network for calls, texts and browsing the internet. The main difference is that you don’t need a physical SIM card, and can have multiple eSIMs per device. All you need to do is install and activate your eSIM to get started. With Tide, there are 3 installation options:

What devices are compatible with a business eSIM?

Most modern smartphones will be compatible with our eSIM business plans, as well as some tablets.

It’s easy to check if your device is compatible. Simply dial *#06# - if your device is compatible, you’ll see an EID (eSIM unique identification number) pop up.

If you’re still unsure, you can use Vodafone’s device guide to check the specifications of your specific device.
