Cancelling your Own Website tool

If you'd like to stop using Own Website, you can cancel your subscription in-app or on Tide on the Web. You'll still have access to the tool until the end of the month you've paid for.

If you've purchased your domain name through Own Website, you'll keep it until the end of the one-year period. If you've purchased it elsewhere, you can keep managing it with your provider.

In your app:

  1. Tap: Profile & Settings > Membership

  2. Under Tools select Manage

  3. Then tap Cancel subscription > Confirm

On the web:

  1. Click on Tools & Services > Memberships

  2. Under Own Website, select: Manage

  3. Then click on Cancel subscription > Confirm

You’ll still be able to go into the website builder tool and make changes, but you won’t be able to publish them online and your website will not be visible to the public until you restart your subscription.

If your account is closed, your website, email, domain hosting and support could be maintained directly by one of our partners instead

Let us know if you intent to keep using your website and we will provide you with more information about the transition process. You’ll then start paying subscription fees directly to the new partner.

Please note that our partners may refuse to provide services to you if your Tide Account was closed due to a breach of applicable terms and conditions, unlawful activity or suspicion of such.
