View and update your account details

Here you'll learn how to view and update your:

  • Bank details

  • Personal details

  • Business details

View your bank details

View your bank details

You can find all of your bank details in your app.

  1. Tap the profile icon in the top left

  2. Tap Profile & Settings > Bank Account

Here you'll be able to see your:

  • Sort code and account number (useful to top up your account)

  • IBAN and SWIFT codes (useful for international payments)

  • EUR SEPA details (useful for euro payments)

  • Tide’s bank address (useful for Direct Debits)

  • Statements and documents (including your Account Verification Letter)

View your details via the Payments tab

If you have:

  • One account – your details will be at the bottom of the Payments page

  • Multiple accounts –  tap Payments > All Accounts > choose your additional account > scroll to the bottom of the page to see your account details

View your business details

View your business details

You can view and update your business details in your app.

  1. Tap the profile icon in the top left

  2. Tap Profile & Settings > Business details

Here you'll be able to see your:

  • Trading name

  • Trading address (where your Tide card will be delivered)

  • VAT number (which you can add in here)

  • Tax and compliance

Update your trading address

You can update your trading address here at any time.

Sole traders: update your trading name

You can update your trading name here at any time.

Directors: update your company name or registered business address

You'll need to first update this information with Companies House.

Once done, we'll automatically update this for you in your Tide app within 5 business days.

Directors: update director details

If you're the director and updating your details, use the steps for updating your personal details above.

If you're changing the director of your company, your new director should email us directly at hello@tide.co and we'll sort this with them.

Want to change your account type?

If you want to switch between a sole trader and registered company account type, you'll have to close your existing account and open a new business account.
