How to view and update your account details

Here you'll learn how to view and update your:

  • Bank details

  • Personal details

  • Business details

If you have additional accounts

  1. Tap Payments > All Accounts

  2. Choose your additional account

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see your account's details

In your app

  1. Tap the profile icon in the top left

  2. Tap Profile & Settings > Personal details

Here you'll be able to see your:

  • Email address (which you can edit here)

  • Mobile number (which you can edit here)

  • Home address

View and update your business details

Some details you can update freely - but if you're the director of a registered company you may have to complete multiple Companies House forms before updating.

Company Secretary allows directors to update their business and personal details admin-free.

Find and update your business details

  1. Tap the profile icon in the top left

  2. Tap Profile & Settings > Business details

Here you'll be able to see your:

  • Trading name

  • Trading address (where your Tide card will be delivered)

  • VAT number (which you can add in here)

  • Tax and compliance

Update your trading address

You can update your trading address by following the steps under 'Find and update your business details'.

Sole traders: update your trading name

You can update your trading name by following the steps under 'Find and update your business details'.

Directors: update your company name or registered business address

You'll need to first update this information with Companies House, or through Tide's Company Secretary.

Once done, we'll automatically update this for you in your Tide app within 5 business days.

Directors: update director details

If you're the director and updating your name, you'll need to first update this information with Companies House, or through Tide's Company Secretary.

If you're changing the director of your company, your new director should email us directly at hello@tide.co and we'll sort this with them.

Want to change your account type?

If you want to switch between a sole trader and registered company account type, you'll have to close your existing account and open a new business account.
