Add your Tide Card to Apple Pay

No Tide Card handy? No problem.

Just set your card up with Apple Pay on your mobile device and start making quick, secure contactless payments in shops, apps, and online.

Add your Tide Card to Apple Pay

For now, you can only add your main Tide card to Apple Pay, and Expense Cards aren’t supported.

Add your card to your Apple Wallet

  1. In your app tap Payments > Cards

  2. Select your card and tap Add to Apple Wallet

  3. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap + to add your Tide card

Add your card to your Apple Watch

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone

  2. Tap Wallet & Apple Pay > Add Credit or Debit Card

Add your card to your iPad

  1. On your iPad, go to Settings

  2. Tap Wallet & Apple Pay > Add Credit or Debit Card

Add your card to your MacBook

  1. For MacBook Pro with Touch ID, open System Preferences

  2. Tap Wallet & Apple Pay > Add Card

Apple Pay fees and limits

No extra fees

Apple Pay is free to set up and use. However, our usual fees apply depending on your Tide plan, when you're paying with your Tide card, including through a digital wallet.

Spending limits

There are no limits for Apple Pay transactions you make in apps or in Safari.

There’s usually no limits for other transactions, but some merchants may have their own cap for contactless payments.

  1. Tap the Support icon > Report fraud to let us know immediately

  2. We'll send you a new card, and allow you to continue using Apple Pay

  3. When you receive and activate your new card, the details in your Apple Wallet will update automatically

If you cancel your card yourself and order a new one later, or replace an online card, you’ll need to manually update your subscription billing details.

If you upgrade your Tide plan and receive a black card, or request a new card for any other reason, your subscriptions will be automatically updated with Mastercard's 'Automatic Billing Updater'.

If you freeze your Tide card, you won’t be able to use it to pay by Apple Pay on any of your devices.

When you unfreeze it, you’ll be able to use it with the digital wallet again.
