How to set up and send Tide Payment Links

Here's how to use Payment Links to let your customers pay you quickly and securely.

Set up Payment Links

Payment Links can be added to any of your Tide invoices charging £5 or more, or to your messages and emails.

Your customers will receive a clickable link, which they can use to pay you immediately and securely.

Add Payment Links to your account

  1. Go to Pay and select your account from the stacked accounts

  2. Tap Get Paid > Create invoice > Add customer

  3. Tap Add items > Turn on Payment Links

You can also enable Payment Links when you create an invoice – just turn the Payment Links toggle on and follow the steps from there.

Through email or messaging

You can send Payment Links via email, WhatsApp, or text.

  1. Go to Pay and select your account from the stacked accounts

  2. Tap Get Paid > Send Payment Links

  3. Copy and paste this into your email or message

Your customers' payment methods

Whenever you send a payment link, they'll be given both the Pay by bank transfer and Credit / Debit Card options to pay you.

Transactions are usually processed instantly, and directly into your Tide Business Account. For now, you can’t receive international payments.

By card

Your customers can make a secure payment by American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Via Pay by Bank

Pay by Bank takes your customers directly to their UK banking app to make the secure payment.
