Meet Chloe Wilson, Tide's Partnerships Lead with 16 months at the company. Learn about her role onboarding strategic partners, passion for helping small businesses thrive, and personal interests including guitar and outdoor adventures.

Hey Chloe, nice to chat with you today! Can you introduce yourself?

Hi I am Chloe! I’ve been at Tide for 16 months following 10 years of prior Fintech experience within varying marketing and partnership roles.

I was brought in to Tide to lead our new business function and strategic partner onboarding within the Partnerships team.

What does that look like day to day?

I am responsible for the identification, sales execution and onboarding of new strategic partners to aid Tide’s market presence and overall growth ambitions.

By working closely with partners, we have developed a set of robust and differentiated value propositions to drive embedded value for our partners and their clients across a multitude of sectors.

What do you like the most about being in the Partnerships team?

As the Partnerships Lead I get to speak to influential people who are disruptors within their respective industries and it is a dream to collaborate and find new and innovative ways to support the small business community.

I love cross-channel collaboration, both internally and externally. I feel fortunate that I get to work with some highly skilled peers within the wider Partnerships team, Marketing, Legal, Compliance and more!

What’s your favourite part of your role?

The thing I particularly love about my role is that I really feel that we are helping to make a difference. In the current climate, we want businesses to not just survive but to thrive. By exposing the benefits of Tide (via our Partner Programme) and encouraging partners’ clients to open an account with Tide, we are helping small businesses save time and money on their financial admin, so they can get back to doing what they love: running their business!

What are you looking forward to the most this year?

In 2023, alongside onboarding a number of exciting partnership opportunities, I look forward to expanding on our UK blueprint to build out a partnerships function that can support Tide’s expansion plans.

What’s one thing the team may not know about you?

I’ve played the electric guitar since I was 8 years old and this continues to be one of my favourite past times.

One last question before you go! When you’re not at Tide, what’s your favourite thing to do?

Spending time with friends, family and being outdoors is bliss for me. Whether it’s walking the dog, hiking in the peaks, caravanning, visiting national trust locations, running, paddle boarding – this is when I am at my happiest! I have an 5 year old niece who I adore (and has me wrapped round her little finger) so I try to spend as much time as I can with her before she grows up and it’s no longer ‘cool’ to hang out with her aunty.

If someone wants to join Tide’s Partner Programme what should they do?

They can find more info on our Partner Page. Don’t hesitate to reach out, the team would love to hear from you!
